Booking Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book your accommodation at Ashlea studio.  We look forward to welcoming you.

By making this booking you are entering into an agreement with us.  Please ensure you read our terms and conditions of booking below as receipt of your booking deposit constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. 

Smoking

Inside:  The Studio is a no smoking/vaping property.

Outside:  You can smoke/vape in the garden to the studio.  Please use the ashtray provided outside and ensure it is emptied on day of departure.

NOTE:  Anyone found smoking inside the studio will be asked to leave immediately and no refund for the remainder of their stay will given.

Dogs

If you are bringing a dog with you to the Studio, please read the section Dogs - Studio Rules, as this also forms part of the Terms and Conditions of your booking.

Covid-19

Please read the section Covid-19 Policy and Guidance as this also forms part of the Terms and Conditions of your booking.

Payment Terms

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance being payable no later than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay.  A reminder e-mail will be sent 1 week before your balance is due.  If payment is not made by the due date we will send a further reminder after which, if you do not contact us within 24 hours, your holiday dates will be re-advertised as a cancellation.

 

Cancellation Policy

If a booking is cancelled prior to the balance payment being made, the deposit remains non-refundable. 

If a booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.  We will endeavour to re-book your dates and if successful we will refund your booking in full minus an admin charge of £50.00.

If a booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.  We will endeavour to re-book your dates and if successful we will refund your booking in full minus an admin charge of £50.00.

We cannot offer refunds for illness including Covid-19, personal shielding or self-isolation.  You must claim on your own insurance.  If you do not have insurance, please refer to our cancellation policy above.

In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

Force Majeure

If we have to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our control including, but not limited to, flooding, fire, significant damage, failure of utility services or weather damage, we will refund in full any sums you have paid.

We cannot accept liability for any alternations, delay or cancellation or any other loss or damage caused by war, civil strife, terrorist action, industrial disputes, fire, sickness, bad weather, epidemics, acts of any government or public authority, changes imposed by re-scheduling of airlines, ferries or any event outside our control.

Damages/Additional Cleaning

Although we do not retain a damage deposit (except for dogs 12-18 mths) please be aware that any damage caused by yourselves/your dogs or additional cleaning needed will be charged for and we reserve the right to take appropriate legal action to recover any costs incurred if payment is not made on request.

 

Check in/out times

The Studio will be available to you from 4.00 pm onwards on your day of arrival.  On your day of departure we ask that the Studio is vacated no later than 10.00 am.  

 

Accommodation

The property sleeps a maximum of 2 adults.  Only those named on the booking form are permitted to stay at the property overnight.

Breach of Terms & Conditions

If we are concerned that guests are breaching our terms and conditions we reserve the right to enter and inspect the property at any time.

If you commit a serious breach of our terms and conditions we have the right to terminate your booking and if you are already at the property we may require you to leave.
